External Professionals

West Gate School prides itself on the strong relationship between the school and a number of external professional services, ensuring that we keep improving what we do for our pupils.

Local Authority Services include City Educational Psychology, Learning, Communication and Interaction Team (LCI) and the Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) specialist services.

The school currently receives 24 commissioned hours from the Educational Psychology team for the academic year. The LCI and SEMH teams work on a traded service offer, where the school has to purchase time from each specialist team.

We also work with a number of health professionals and the Leicestershire Traded Services for county students.
