Annual Reviews
Every pupil has an annual review, in compliance with the statutory guidance from the SEND code of practice:0-25 years.
The school will organise the meeting and parent/carers, advocates and all professionals involved with health, education and care for the pupil. At West Gate we hold these meetings in a virtual environment, as feedback and data indicate a higher attendance record from all involved. You will receive your invitation via email.
From Year 9 the annual review will also focus on preparing for adulthood and the transition pathway.
Please let us know if there is anyone specific you would like to attend. This could be a friend or a professional.
